heat 5 gal water to 170 degrees
add 8.5-9 lbs crushed/ flaked corn( this one is not feed quality)
remove from heat stir for 5-10 min constantly
:eugeek: watch temp and stir on and off till 150 degrees
stir in 1-1.5 lbs crushed malted barley( can add suger if like( i tried with out sugar))
let sit till temp falls to 100 degrees
add yeast ( i did turbo 48) let sit for time stated roughly 5 days

if you have heard of this one let me know or if you have tried it let me know how it turns out.

Nope... There is no place for turbo yeast in a grain mash, with or without additional sugar... Turbo yeast is engineered to be used with straight sugar washes because the product also contains more than enough chemical nutrients to feed the yeast throughout a rapid fermentation...

As for your still, is it a simple pot still or a "World Class Home Distillation Apparatus" reflux column which isn't really all that great...??? Does it have cooling tubes passing through the column...???

i got two things...
1. is the mash going to be ok to go with or should i restart it?
2. it has a cooling tube around the end and a inlet and outlet for a waster hose.
