Hi there everyone first post on this board. I have been distilling for awhile with the help of reading on this board. A couple of years ago my wife and I purchased some "Caipirinha-Lime Liqueur" basically a really tart lime liqueur from vom voss in jackson hole wy. It is really good with some mint leaves on a hot day. Well I have some product that would be perfect to mix up and flavor but I am unsure how to get such a strong lime flavor into it. Any thoughts?
Thanks.

I'd macerate a whole bunch of zest in some high proof. That might pull too many oils out, so something else to try would be either run the zest in a gin basket or in the pot and re run your neutral.

You could follow the Lemoncello recipe...

As already stated the Lemoncello recipe should do the job, I think to get the tartyness you might need less sugar and to add a little lime juice to the mix.hydro3 wrote: basically a really tart lime liqueur

I had not seen the lemocello recipie, that should work out. I am going to 8oz on some limes this weekend and then see how it turns out.
Thanks for pointing me in that direction.
