Probably confectionery sugar, which contains corn starch, and water... The corn starch could potentially cause problems with clearing after the fermentation is complete...

1+

Might be worth trying to get some alpha and beta amalayse enzymes and dilute and mash the liquid to convert the corn starch to sugar as well.

its all food product regardless, I would just ferment it up see what you get. You could hit on something good and we'll all be looking for donut glaze next month

Sweet! I predict it will need some nutrients and a bit of acid, (and some water obviously) and then be good to go.

See if you can get a nutritional breakdown that lists ingredients by weight; it will help alot with figuring out your dilution ratio for the sugar

That may be a good thing, who knows..... Always try to keep them on your side.

I've been using this sugar for over a year now,, with pretty good results. Is hinda hard to figure out just how much to use, but I just follow the "Tried n True". I usually take in a clean 5 gal Lowes bucket with lid on Fri afternoon, pick up on sat morning along with a dozen doughnuts ,,, yum.

Stopped in this morning, there sat my "empty" bucket. Kid in back waved , n said "we didnt get it cleaned last night,,be a coupla hours if you can come back."Went back after taking im the local flea, n there sat my "FULL" bucket, along with 4 smaller of their buckets.Kid says"we saved thesefor you if you want'em."
So, all in all, I got a 5 gal bucket chug full, 3 I'm guessing are 3 1/2 to 4 gal of theires, plus one halfish full. did note that their's are 42lb net wt.

Now what Imma do with all this sugar??/ Already had 3 or 4 waiting in shed , lol
