Re: Brown Sugar
Brown sugar still has cane juice (molasses) in it so you'll get a bit of a rummy taste in the distillate. Look at the rum threads in tried and true for more info.
No, officer, I wasn't distilling alcohol! It was probably that guy!

Yup. Brown sugar wash tastes like a light rum due to the added molasses.

What you will end up with is the same as the sweet feed whiskey you can find on this site, its in the tried and proven section. Its a rumsky or as some call it jackass juice, plenty of here like it, not really my cup of tea but see what ya think
Using that pressure cookers still you are going to have to make tight cuts and err on the side of caution, hope you have covered the seals in thread seal tape or you are going to have a snazzy rubber petro chemical twist to your final product

+1 Croweater.....it'll mesh well with that "aluminum foil" taste those aluminum pots infuse. Seriously man, stop what your doing until ya get a good pot. At the VERY least your gonna have a batch of popskull, worse yet a poisoning from all the contaminates.

I don't think anyone here is going to condone the use of a stock pot with a glass lid for a still...!!! I have several stock pots with glass lids and every one of them has an alternate lid for use as a still boiler, whether it is a SS mixing bowl or a trimmed down SS pizza tray... Just one reason is that there is a synthetic seal between the metal rim and the glass... Rethink that idea and find a safer option...
