Heat tape

Has anyone tried wrapping a barrel with it its 30-40 f here and my wife is not fond of indoor fermenting

Quite a few members have used heat tapes and belts to maintain temperatures in larger fermenters... Some have thermostats and those that don't can either be controlled by one or by a power controller set at a given input rate...
