Heads

According to The Alcohol Textbook:

Term used to describe the impurities produced in ethanol fermentations (congeners) that have lower boiling points than ethanol. They include methanol and aldehydes, among them acetaldehyde. Heads are high in congeners, a major cause of hangovers.
