Is this a problem and why?

That's the way it is, most of us have built a small inline leibig onto the output tube.

I did something similar in a small potstill for essences.

But if it is just for better alcoholmeter readings what will happened if we put the copper parrot in a pot with enough water at 20°C?

That's mine, very compact.

It's still hot, had two runs today, UJSSM and rum.

This is the simplest and cheapest way. I also try to use what I have as much as possible.
I was thinking of something similar because I’ve seen similar soldering on many AC’s and fridges.

I had also another idea:
What will happen if the copper parrot is in a pot full with water at 20°C?
