We where doing that on IRC 15-20 years ago already  And swap your office chair to a WC and you'll never have to leave the shed. Naa, just kidding. But what do you do when you need to "go"? Train your family to supervise it, or what?

I think I have a good setup, my shop is about 125 feet from the house and sits in the middle of 5 acres. When I am doing a run I never leave the building, I can sit at my computer and work while I keep an eye on my copper baby. I have it setup in a lean-to on the back side of the shop so I do not have issues with fumes from the burner. Last winter I was playing with some malt extract and that shit foamed up and made one hell of a mess, I don't even want to think about what would have come down if I had been off getting a nooner. My take is just stay with it and make good cuts and the best sipping whiskey you can get.

I made the same leap a while back. Original router wouldnt quite make it. Had to give the signal a boost. Now everything is A-OK 8)

Pringles can acts like a super low budget yagi antenna, and can push out transmission/reception to a specific direction, a LONG way (compared to the little wimpy antenna on the router).

Just be sure your wireless encryption is good enough, or the neighbor kid down the block will air-crack you, and now you have his traffic tied to your router.

Guys, GUYS......this just proves how easily it is to get distracted :) The topic was about keeping our stills supervised. Not our wireless setups.

Yes, but without my wireless setup, it would be hard to babysit my still for the day.

We are a strange bunch. I bet some enterprising entrepreneur could make a pinup calendar of shiny stuff, and 1/2 the members here would buy several copies.

No wonder those vermin at still drinkin did as well as they did. Shiny copper, 1/2 naked skanks, what else would we want (other than a still that actually WORKED).

Naked skank...

And, so as not to sound gender insensitive, the women would probably like naked hunks... "Is that a reflux column between your legs or are you just glad to see me? "

This topic has gone down the toilet  I guess everything sensible has been covered already. Gender has nothing to do with it. As the gay man I am, I would enjoy a hunk with a shiny column in the ads too. Just don't tell my husband!

Thanks guys, for the laughs
