I'll celebrate when we get our troops home and can celebrate together, as all the countless families reunite for the first time in 10 years, and ALL together, with ALL of our allies over the world, remember the tens of thousands who died fighting, and toast to the end of this chapter of the history of the world.
War is Peace
Freedom is Slavery
Ignorance is Strength
Americans have been waiting for this day for 10 years and it has united us once again. I would love to go to NYC and chant with the rest of my fellow Americans. The photo prolly isn't real but I'm sure he is dead. For some reason I woke up from my sleep and turned on fox news ten minutes before the announcement, I'd like to think I knew something great was coming. I don't think they threw his body in the ocean, I'm sure they brought it back to run many tests on it to confirm it. But there comes a point where you can't question everything the media says, they have ethics and they're not out to hurt us. It's not I time to question, it's a time to celebrate our unification.
And all the bs about "tightened security", these are my thoughts: if Pakistan had the nerve to attack us or threat us in this moment of such great American pride, I don't think our pres would have a second though about sending our Stealth Bombers their way.

I've had some pretty putrid hate mail from ex (and one or two current) members of our forum and find that I cannot be moved to celebrate any buggers death, but I do agree guitarmaster, lets wait and all celebrate the end of yet another stinking, fucking war and remember the millions of people killed, tortured and injured, sometimes in the most horrific ways. I despise war.
Simple potstiller. Slow, single run.

I think however people want or need to feel about it is fine...ie., somber or celebrate. It's not the end of this..but it's a GOOD damn start. Its akin to winning a very major/decisive turning point battle. When we finally took the beaches at Normandy...it was not the end....there was MUCH brutal fighting/killing/dieing to go. But, it was certainly a milestone — the beginning of the end. And that makes it important — however you feel about contemplating it.

i wander how they "bathed" his body before they chunked the POS in the sea??????
id of give the bastard a golden shower before i fliped him off the side. then,, id of used his worthless corps as target practice before it sunk.
but thats just me
spooky
4" plate column >>>[/color] the flame that burns twice as bright only burns half as long
Head shots, for when you want to be absolutely sure you don't need to waste an extra bullet... I can still smell what those pictures depict... You never forget the sweet smell of splattered brain matter or disemboweled bodies...
Which one of the photo's is Bin Laden ???????? there's at least two different dead bodies in those few photo's that were on the link.
Why do i have this gut feeling that there is more to this than meets the eye.
Considering the fact that now they say he was not armed at the time and that the only person on hand to try to protect him was his daughter one would wonder why they would not take him alive to spoil his and his followers dream of paradise (or maybe that is really what happened).
I hope i have not upset or offended anyone as nobody could hate wars and killing more than i do and i believe people should be bought to justice when ever possible.

So does the truth. Seen it first hand. Was in Kenya one of our planes was out flying a mission. We were waiting for her to land and our phones started blowing up with calls from the states. Asking about the plane that got shot. And not just our guys it was wives checkin on their husbands. We didn't know anything about it? We should have been the first to know seeing how we were going to have to fix it when it hit the deck. But sure enough she hit the deck parked and the crew shut her down fast and got the hell out telling us the aircraft took a round in a fuel tank. Never figured out how the crew got the message back to the states? Or who did it? Word spreads fast in the military. Truth or lies move faster then a SR71 Blackbird over enemy lines.
The grease photos are the 2 brothers who were Osama's private messengers (ie., the ones that KSM gave up their code name...later confirmed by al libbi that they eventually found/tracked), and one of Osama's son's. Their bodies were left behind after the raid ...probably cause the Seals were a copter short. Photos were taken by Pakistani military who also hauled off every scrap of that crashed helo....even saw pics of tractors..etc..hauling off sections of it. That's a "stealth" bird and has all kinds of whiz-bang on it...that cuts down on noise from rotors as well as hiding it from radar/detection. The tail rotor was still in tact. Rare to even see one.

Can they recreate a similar bird with what they got from the crash?

They can reverse engineer it and try to! More than likely they will find small little bits of a technology they don't already have. They won't have the full system. But will take what they find and try to adapt it to technology they do have.

That's right. That rotor blade on back of the tail...is pitched in such a way to reduce noise and its still in tact. That's something that can be reversed engineered. That glass/plastic looking disc in the center of the rotor...is to cover the gears...and make it radar resistant (ie., design elements). And some of the materials that are left...are stuff nobody has. By now..most of it is in China/Russia being dissected. Chinese/Russkies could figure out at least part of it. Pakistani's glad to give it to them...they get back...new copters. They wont' get all of it..but they could easily gain a lot of tech from just the tail section they have intact.
I'll put it this way...By the time you hear it??? Your already dead. Hell..not only did they fly this baby from Afghanistan through Pakistani airspace...right into the capital...and right next to their largest military training facility....they crashed the damn thing in Osama Bin Ladens back yard, killed everybody worth killing...and left with his body and computers...and nobody knew shit till it was done and gone. Yes....it'sa bad ass piece of equipment.
