has anyone added a thermometer to the alex 25 columns? i would like to do it but dont really know where or how to add one.

Do you mean a 25mm diameter bokakob?

They usually go under the top plate, where they measure vapor temp, not liquid reflux.

What the flip is a Alex 25 still? I'm guessing its a CM rig since it has a dephlagmater? If so you would want to put it at or near the take off above the dephlagmater.

A quick Google search reveals…

"Alex" stands for Alcohol Extractor where 25 is the capacity of the still's boiler.

Yeh I seen that but they want you to pay for the plans. Kinda hard to figure it out with the crappy pics they have.

I wouldn't invest in those plans nor would I build one of those rigs... You can do better for free... That site strikes me as if the mad inventor thinks his ideas are worth millions... Well, hundreds anyway... :roll:
