Everyone who's posted a motorcycle on the "Toys" thread! That would be one hellava ride and party. Speaking of that, I need to post my ride...

Also, in no specific order:
Mr. Piss, Rad, Odin, Coyote, Kiwistiller, Frosteecat, Hookline, Rubber Duck, Wacabi, Bushman, Bentstick, NcHooch, Tater, Dunder, Husker, KingofHearts, Braz, MashRookie, Myles & (of course) Uncle Jessie!

Did you say only one person?!?

Goodness. I want to meet them all! I want to meet UJ, Tater and Husker to learn who is behind this great site. I want to share some UJSSM with UJ. Hear Tater bust my chops while I am grinning at him and see Husker scowl at me for screwing up my computer! I want to meet Dunder to see if he is real or an IBM computer?? (who has that much knowledge? )

Is this the Oscars? Am I limited on time here? I want to meet all the brain guys. Too many to mention. Rad, Myles,FD,LW,RD,MK,RC,NC,FB,PP,OD.SH. Crap Who did I forget?

I want to meet all my NW members BD OMD, Bull, Stilly, BM (I know him) and many more. Where you at frosty??

And my inspirational members. Old Dog, Sam,Rad, Rubber Duck and more recently FlyingDutchman.
Who would not love to sit down with Kiwi or Hook? OMG My list could go on for hours. And I wasn’t even a runner up... :D :D

I think the most interesting person to meet would be. Gooseeye. I know he too doesn't like the social thing. But you just know his knowledge is up there with Dnderheads. Just from the few little posts he makes. The other problem would be. I would hate to find out he doesn't talk like he types.

Well Goose and Dunder are on the top of my list.

Tater would be a hell of a lot of fun because we could go out and burn a house down, we could pick up nc hootch on the way to the fire.

MR, Bushman, UJ and RC are my best bets, any of them would be worth breaking my 5 drink maximum.

MR P sorry I'm never going back out to your neck of the woods.

Of the guys that I would like to meet that might happen but probably won't Myles, Samon, Walking wolf, Mini Me, Usage, Of coarse Bull Rider, that ass hole Lwtcs, and the dog with an eye patch. Oh and Rad, but I'll never go back to the NYC and your never going to leave it sooooo......

I've actually met a few forum members. I'd like to meet a lot more but until this hobby is legal I tend to keep anonymous.

Doesn't it suck when your at the brew shop and you know a guy is a serious distiller and your both on the forums but neither one of you will admit it?

What conversation? The conversing goes on here, the drinking and carrying on happens when you meet one one of these caricatures. Mostly drinking.

And yes. I set there listening to the homebrew shop guy giving someone some crappy advice. And I so wanted to say something. But I didn't want to let it out. Drove me nuts.

Blanikdog is differently on the list. I would have to take a thermometer with me. So he could train me the proper way to smash one.

Even though I have not posted a great deal I have been lurking for a while. My received wisdom*cough*knowledge is the accumulation of Ddnrhead, rad14701, samohon (a fellow Brit) and the inimitable Mr Piss. I am indebted to all of you.

Wow, I am totally honored to be on so many lists. I too would find it a lot of fun especially to travel and meet so many of you, Odin, Myles and Samohon I would cross the pond to get together, and RD, I would also break my limit to share drinks. And even if RD wouldn't go down under to your island I would. I cannot think of a regular on this site I wouldn't mind meeting. This last weekend I showed MR around my friends place on one of the islands in the San Juan's and I think he was blown away as it is 37 + acres and he has 7 beaches and two houses and not sure how many thousand square feet of waterfront. Now that would be a great place to meet up and share a few drinks and then maybe throw a fishing line or two in the water, crack crab and eat shrimp :D

Hi guys,

I would love to meet all of you. I am sure there is lots and lots to talk about! I think if I would start, I would certainly forget most. But hey, I can always add, can't I?

Allmost (allmost!) met with Ro Palinka this summer. A broken down car and an bruised right hand (no guys, not from that - I am actually a happily maried man) came in between. Our summer house in Hungary is only 200 miles from where he lives. And where the kids go to summer camp ... that is actually only 100 miles away. Next year. He will teach me the noble art of Palinka making (I hope). I will take some Dio Palinka to consume together. And geneva. Herbs & fruits. Interesting.

Would love to visit Big R. He tried my geneva and is now planning on making a batch for himself. His words "this is definately not gin" sounded like music to my ears. Why? Because I don't like gin. If I get the chance to meet him I will definately want to try all his whiskies. And I want him to tell me all about aging and wood. And maconry. A hobby we both share.

Gin. Now there is one I would like to try. That's Kiwi's gin. I am sure it will be closer to geneva, and that is meant to be a compliment. The man knows his herbs and shares his knowledge. While in New-Zealand, I would want to visit Mike for a talk about his "Vapour Reflux Design" and my "Non Plus Ultra" interpretation.

After that I will go back to Holland and meet with my esteemed colleague HStuurman. We manage the Dutch HD (sorta) site together. And he is actually allmost finished with building my "Non Plus Ultra" design. Curious to meet him. And we probably will soon. I work in Amsterdam, he comes there quite often. I am sure we will both bring our own drinks. My geneva will beat his geneva  , but his rum will be a revelation.

Next thing, I will take a plain to the NW of the US. I definately want to meet Bushman and Mash Rookie. I would want to try out BM's Aquavit. And play pool while listening to his jukebox in the basement. MR: I want to see your builds and try out your UJ. My UJ's weren't that good. I am sure yours is a great treat. Eye candy: I hear your girl friend is fine looking specimen! BTW, if you want to try some geneva, just PM me and I will send you a bottle. I do expect a bottle of UJ in return. Hmmm ... have to go easy on promises on geneva. Low on stock. Out of stock actually. A new batch will be ready in a few months time only.

Mr. P and his firepiss. And some of your panty dropper fruit liqueres would go down easily.

More people I want to meet? O yes! Uncle Jesse. Tony Ackland. Rad, Tatter. Husker. Dunder. But often I wonder: are they real people or angels send to us by the benigne gods of distillation?

Odin.

I don't post much these days as most of you would notice, but I usually take a look daily just to see what's going on. After reading this post, I could not go past letting you know who I would like to meet.
Firstly LWTCS, in the past we spoke often about designs and developements on each other builds, and developed an on line friendship.

Secondly, which would be a surprise to the older members, I would like to meet Joe (Rednose), we sparred ofted and sometimes got quite heated in our dissagreements on plate design. But it was Joe's Apollo still for his small commercial distillery that inspired me to take the design further and develop the Flute concept or home distilling using a keg boiler. Despite our differences I have a lot of respect for Joe, although he would never believe it.

I'm seriously down to meet just about anyone, any time. I am a "people person" at heart and like misfits, grumps, punks, rednecks and tight asses equally. As long as you are "real", I don't care what your politics, creed, ethnicity, etc are.
I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Coyote and getting to know MR especially and some of the mods a bit in PM's.
I'm not naming anyone cause I can't make a short enough list! But if you're ever in the Portland Oregon area, drop me a PM!!
