TPW, Tomato paste, Sugar wash

Hi all,
There is a lot of in between stuff about TPW washes in the Tom paste wash recipe here.

Could I ask everyone to list only there TPW Recipes here without the in between conversations?

Not being rude, Just so we can all get a concentrated look at everyone's twist on there TPW wash.

-Recipe?
-What Still type/setup?
-Gravity/% at end of wash?
-How much fore shots produced mL/L?
-How much drinkable 90% -96% it made after distilled mL/L?
-Tails produced mL/L

I am new to this, so I am interested in seeing the difference in recipes and the results?

Well,.. that's actually a sugar wash. And its called Bird Watchers. The tomato paste is just for nutrients for the yeast.

In a 55 gal drum I put...

75 lb sugar
6 juiced lemons
48 ounces of tomato paste
1lb bakers yeast
1 tblspoon Epsom salt

Takes about a week to nine days to finish, then a couple days to settle.

Stripped through a 3"hillbilly pot still, then re-run through my cm 3" PSII

in my 25L Barrel

5 kg sugar
1 large juiced lemon
120 grams
2-3 table spoons bakers yeast
1 pinch Epsom salt

ferment at about 30'c

i normally leave it 4 weeks before running it as i like it very clear

Stripped through a 2' pot still, then re-run about 15L of 40% through my boka 2" on 2200 50L keg

all said and done i keep about 70% of the stripped 40% as i look for quality not yield

That's kinda what the Birdwatchers thread is for. Most everyone just goes off the Birdwatchers recipe and tweeks it to their liking. And all the clutter in-between recipes is good for learning. Yes some of it is worthless. But there are also good things as to why some have done it differently. And what works and why. Or what doesn't work and why. So the thread is educational. And works as intended. To help others learn. If you cut it down to just recipes. You are leaving out the most important part. Learning.

Do we really need another "Recipe Development" for a tomato paste sugar wash...??? I think the Tried and True Birdwatchers has things pretty well covered... No need further fragmenting these forums...
