Advice for the women

Post by heynonny »

Pass this on, but be careful.

Ladies, if a man says he will fix something, he will.
There's really no need to remind him every six months.

(I ran across this on a welding forum -hey-)

My wife has this thing bout saving me money by spending more for something than we had otherwise planned. After a while...I just say...don't even explain it. Just tell me how much it cost. We were going to buy this 300 dollar item that was on sale for 20% off. But, they had the thousand dollar item on sale for 50% off! so, we actually saved more money by buying the thousand dollar one than we otherwise would have even though it cost 200 dollars more?

:wtf:

I stopped asking. She has also stopped asking but occasional will ask home many gallons of beer am I going to brew and store ( I have 30 gallons currently). She doesn't complain about the spirits since she is the main consumer.

Expenditures are based on who we are buying for... The way it goes around here is that when I need something it has to be the cheapest possible she can find but when it's for her price is less of a concern... But I'm probably cheaper yet because I can easily say "make do without", even to myself...
