Maintaining a still?

Post by moered »

How should one go about maintaining a still? In terms of cleaning etc.. I've heard some talk on here about using copper scrubbers etc, is there anything to be done to take care of the copper ?

I just rinse before and after every run using some hose attachments that I made especially for the job.

Sure seems like this has been discussed multiple times over the years so the answers are here... That being said, I only rinse my rig with water after use and never use soap... What could get the rig cleaner than high temperature high proof alcohol vapor and liquid spirits...???
