Been reading on temps for fermentation.
So.. At 77 degrees (25c) you should get minimal fusels if any..
But, Ian Smiley says: Hot and Fast
"I have found that the best whiskey and schnapps flavours are in fact formed during a hot, fast, brisk fermentation, and that long languishing fermentations (i.e. other than lagering) are the ones that produce the less desirable flavours. Of course, this point would be subject to personal preference. "
My local brew shop sells "Distillers Yeast" which I plan to use..
Question is, what temp should I hold it?

Right around 80. Usually. What kind of distillers yeast? Bakers yeast works pretty good for UJSSM.

Beware, as some of the Distillers Yeasts are actually Turbo Yeasts...

Re: UJSSM (Yeast and Temp)
No it would be a good yeast. Recommended temps of low to mid 80s. But I would keep it right around 80.
