Krusty the Clown once said "One vice leads to another, Bart. Then you end up like me, so jaded the only thing that gets you off is freebasing ground-up moon rocks. And this just gets me to normal!"

New Home

So my wife and I are in the process of buying our first house. The inspection went really good, we are waiting on the second inspection (the type of loan requires a safety inspection and appraisal) and hopefully closing Aug 26. Best part, it already has 220v in the workshop outback,

I was going to solder the copper adapter to the SS keg. I have never done soldering like this before. I have soldered many many electrical compo...

I do like to step outside and yell "Revenuers" every now and then to see how many garage doors go down. Bravo  If you are not already, become a homebrewer. Almost all the equipment used in beer brewing can double for "The Hobby" Think hiding in plain sight. A cooling coil ...

Risks of Hobby

I figured this would be a good place to ask this question. But I was just wondering everyone's feelings on the risk that goes along with this hobby (at least in the U.S.). I live in VA, a state that makes it illegal to even own a still. I was just wondering if and what some of the worries you guys h...

Re: Propane Burners

I've read decent things about the bayou classic, its around $50 but I was wondering about others others have used because it seems like its only ok. Propane Burners

Im sure this has been asked, I just am not searching for the right thing. I tend to over think and word oddly. Basically Im looking for information on propane burners, like the Bayou Classic, etc. Which ones are the best bang for buck and still efficient, etc. Maybe there's a write up?

Can anyone tell me which states it is illegal for one to even own a still? To what extent is it? IE is it illegal to have all the pieces certain pieces any pieces etc. I Google and all I get is Google using the word still as in the adjective not the noun.

I never said fake ID, I said sheriffs ID. They are perfectly legal and as far as Ny they can be had for $10. They are issued by the sheriffs dept. And it was just food for thought. I was thinking major components. Yes they can be built or had locally but I read many times on here people ordering lar...
