Six years ago I had a major life incident with a major heart atttack, but with the help of the paramedics and a great new angioplasty proceedure I pulled through and made a fine recovery. Wasn't sure back then if I could stick it out six more yeares, but with a positive attitude and not letting myself get too excited over things I was doing; a bit of TiIa Chi; lots of exercise and of course a dram or two a day of my own white dog, I have made it and I am looking forward to the rest of my life.
I sold my house in the city and I am inthe preocess of moving to a place on the west coast. Semi-rural, with lots of trees, big lots and the Teepee's are far apart as a good Metis friend of mine tells me.
Tonight we are cooking up some lamb, opening some bubbly and also a bottle of my dad's white lightening I have been saving for 11 years. He gave it to me then and passed away 2 months later, so I decided to keep it until I retired.
Once I get settled in I will have more time to be on here and let you all know how retirement is going
